Founded in 2015, Wooclap is an EdTech startup which helps to engage students and learners as active participants in their learning. We make learning awesome and effective!

Wooclap has raised a total of 1.75 million euros through private investments and was recently awarded 500 000 euros as Innovative Startup of the Year. After a 3-digit growth in 2019, the opening of an office in Paris and strong international expansion, the team intends to continue this momentum in 2020 and beyond.

Thanks to our web platform of interactive questions, which students answer in real time via their smartphone, more than 300,000 teachers around the world make their courses more active, more efficient and more adapted to their students’ expectations. Our user base includes higher education teachers as well as corporate trainers.

In 2020, Wooclap continued to innovate and launched Wooflash, a study platform for students based on spaced repetition and artificial intelligence.

Job Description

We're expanding rapidly into Spanish-speaking markets and we need you to help us tailor our content, website and experience to those users.

You will work with our Content Marketing lead on the following missions:

  • Localizing our app and website (English and/or French is source language, localisation to Spanish language)
  • Translating/localizing our marketing material (social media captions, marketing emails, blog posts, etc.)
  • Ensuring brand consistency with our content style guide while taking into account Spanish specifications

Preferred Experience

Please send your application our way if you have:

  • Experience with writing and translating clear, consistent and concise user-interface content
  • Experience with writing in a variety of digital formats such as website articles, blog posts, newsletter, interviews etc.
  • Experience with text editing, proofreading, translations from French and English into Spanish
  • A strong eye for detail

Bonus point if you studied in Spain or know a bit about the Spanish Higher Education space.
